Jeremiah's Pick CEO Jules Kragen and Business Advisor Greta Mowry discuss marketing strategy

WHY JOIN

You've got a lot to give. Advance your philanthropy to the next level. Join a select community of other seasoned, socially-aware senior business executives who use their business skills to give back. Through their work on Strategy Roundtables, individual Advising Consultations, PCV's Volunteer Advisors help unlock the potential of small businesses across California to grow and create lasting impact in their communities.

“PCV is a great opportunity for me to do what I love to do professionally with client organizations that generally would not be able to afford my services within a context where, as a volunteer, I can be of service and make tangible contributions to my community.” — Volunteer Advisor Julian Ortiz, Chief Strategy Officer, El Clasificado

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

As a Business PCV Advisor, you are invited to engage with companies in a variety of different ways, as your time and interest permit. Current opportunities include:

  • Strategy Roundtable Participant — Join a panel of other seasoned executives in a focused two-hour session working with a single company to assess their strategic direction and offer targeted advice
  • Strategy Roundtable Preparation Assistance — Work with an entrepreneur leading a Business Advising company to help him or her prepare a presentation for a Strategy Roundtable. Time commitment is generally 2-4 hours per Roundtable.
  • Individual Consultations — Meet with a PCV network company owner and/or members of their senior management team for 1-2 hours to advise the company on a specific area of your expertise.
