Today, the IIPC, which PCV helps convene, launches the Global Learning Exhange on Social Impact Investing! Launched with the support of the UK Cabinet office, the Global Learning Exchange is a key outcome of the G8 meetings in London last summer. The Global Learning exchange is an online platform that connects people, ideas and resources and also hosts monthly virtual meetings that coincide with World Economic Forum events. This is the first initiative of it’s kind with the goal of bringing together public officials, investors, philanthropic and civil society organizations, international financial institutions, academics and business leaders – all to facilitate an inclusive and action-oriented dialogue on social impact investing. The work of the Global Learning Exchange will complement the ongoing efforts of the Social Impact Investment Task Force to drive impact investing as an important innovation for public good.
