This week’s spotlight features Isaiah Goodman! Isaiah started his career as a financial representative at Northwestern Mutual. Although Isaiah’s time there was fruitful, he felt limited with the services and offerings that he was able to provide his clients. Isaiah decided to start his own financial advising business called Becoming Financial with the main goal of educating young people. He now advises people as young as 14 years old!
Isaiah came to Pacific Community Ventures with a wealth of experience in financial advising, but lacked a clear vision on how to expand his small business. We paired Isaiah with one of our trusted advisors, Russ Zilles –CEO of ECLIPSE Business Advisors.
Isaiah gained a significant amount of value from just the first meeting with Russ. Russ provided some insights and examples from his own past entrepreneurial experiences going through the various steps of starting a successful enterprise. He was able to identify areas of improvement in Isaiah’s business model and business plan.
Isaiah is currently working on creating an investment portfolio with the purpose of obtaining funding. He wrote about his partnership with Russ: “Huge breakthroughs and finally connecting some dots! Exactly what I needed.”
Isaiah now has a crystal-clear vision moving forward and is extremely optimistic for the future of his business. Isaiah is working with Russ to figure out his projections for the next 10 years, value proposition, and ever-evolving business plan. Our team is very excited to see how this expansion comes to fruition!
