This week’s featured volunteer advisor is Sherri Beasley, Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Children’s Health in Tennessee. She’s been an allstar advisor with 3 partnerships since she joined the Pacific Community Ventures family back in July of 2015.
We recently matched Sherri with Israel Sokeye, the owner of a mental health clinic called Plymouth Psych Group. Israel requested mentorship on how to strategize for growth, and with Sherri’s expertise in strategic planning and extensive experience in the healthcare industry, it was a natural fit.
Within just three months in partnership, Sherri’s helped Israel with organizational structure, HR issues, and long-term strategic planning! Sherri was able to apply her understanding of what drives finances to develop an in-depth financial, productivity, and wage analysis to determine who was bringing in the revenue. This analysis showed that there was an opportunity to change how Israel was utilizing his providers.
Sherri shared that their partnership together has been successful because, “Israel is a great communicator and is really open,” and they’re able to “bounce things off of each other in a collaborative way.”
Your work has been invaluable and we truly appreciate the support that you provide, Sherri!
