Ariana Makau

Ariana has a BA in Studio Art and an MA in Stained Glass Conservation. Although she first pursued a career within the museum field abroad in London at The V&A Museum, and then the States at The J. Paul Getty Museum and The Met in New York; the Eurocentric provenance in limited her interests. She pivoted and founded her company, Nzilani Glass Conservation in order to serve a wider audience both in action and awareness. Since 2003, Nzilani has grown to set the industry standard for health and safety and museum-quality work available to the public. Nzilani values education and service to its community by integrating paid internships in larger studio projects with youth who are underserved.
