Noah Alper is an advising dream come true for many entrepreneurs in the food & beverage industry. As the founder of Noah’s New York Bagels, Noah has over 35 years of experience sustainably scaling successful businesses. He’s also an author. Noah recently released a book called “Business Mensch: Timeless Wisdom for Today’s Entrepreneur” – check it out! Noah is a great example of the caliber of PCV Advisors in our extensive Business Advising network. And they’re all eager to work with small businesses all over the country!
Noah is currently matched with two entrepreneurs:
Yaron Milgrom, Local Mission Market
Matched earlier this summer, Noah and SAIL loan recipient Yaron from Local Mission Market are working together as the size of the Local Mission staff doubles by the end of the year. Yaron, who is seeking advice around the growth challenges and opportunities that come with expanding operations, is in good hands with Noah, who definitely knows a thing or two about scaling food & beverage businesses.
Betsy Fields, From the Fields
Betsy is the founder of From the Fields, a producer of fresh and healthful granola, porridge and oatmeal. Betsy and Noah were matched on BusinessAdvising.org and are now working on new food distribution and supply chain models for From the Fields. Noah is also helping Betsy think through her company vision and strategy.
In both of these matches, Noah has not only been an incredible support to the entrepreneurs, but also wonderfully communicative with the PCV staff, which helps us improve our program and offerings. The last time we talked to Noah, we was ready for more and we’re happy to oblige with a really exciting new PCV advisee, Pizzaiolo in Oakland.
We’re lucky to have advisors like Noah in our network, who really believe that “doing good is good for business”!
