Last week we had a great Strategy Roundtable session with Lila B. Design at Stable Café – what a beautiful space for this meeting! Lila B. Design uses sustainable, often locally grown plants and flowers to create stylish customer container gardens. Whether transforming a customers’ deck or decorating a wedding venue, Lila B. designs living arrangements that bring beauty, serenity and artistry to any space.
Lila B. Design’s owner Baylor Chapman came to PCV seeking help with planning for strategic growth and product development, and we knew that a Strategy Roundtable, which is a 2-hour meeting with a group of PCV Advisors who serve as an ad-hoc Board of Advisors, would be super helpful. The Business Advising team rounded up a team of seven expert advisors in various fields such as finance, operations, marketing and HR, and connected Baylor with the advice and resources that she needed to take her business to the next level.
We love Lila B. not only for the beautiful living arrangements that they create (check them all out here!) but also for the good they are doing for their community and the planet. As a certified San Francisco Green Business, Lila B. conserves resources and prevents pollution while also using repurposed, organic and sustainably harvested materials – even their leftover blossoms find new life in local health clinics! Not only are they good for the planet, but Lila B. is also doing good in their community. Lila B. is committed to creating quality jobs in their community, and created six jobs in 2012 alone!
